Coolwaters Caravan Park, Kinka Beach ( near Yeppoon), Qld.

We stayed here for two nights on our trip back from FNQ in December 2008.
The main reason we chose this park was simply that it had drive
through ensuite sites WITH a washing machine (2 only). Although the
price for the site was a little high ($45/night) the bonus washing
machine evened things up as we did quite a bit of washing here before
heading back home.

The park itself is set on 150 acres of bushland where I enjoyed going
for walks in the early morning and late afternoon ... I had to get rid
of the holiday fat before Xmas! I thoroughly enjoyed the walks
through the semi-tropical rainforest and welcomed the pool for a
refreshing swim afterwards.

In general the powered sites seemed pretty average but at $27/night it
wasn't too expensive for the area.

The beach is about a 10 minute walk away and the causeway is a good
spot for fishing.

I'd stay here again for a stop-over when travelling back from FNQ.
