Absolute Oceanfront Tourist Park - Bargara, Qld.

Well we hadn't been out for a while in the van so decided to go for a few days R&R up to Bargara as we had never been vanning there.

The park certainly isn't up there with your Big 4 resorts but personally I liked the character of the place and the one big bonus ... you park right next to the beach! Be warned, it's not a swimming beach but they do have a nice pool.

It is quite tight in places ... actually ... make that MOST places but so long as you don't mind reversing a van in order to get out you should be ok.

I'd have no hesitation in going back there again ... only issue is the Bl**dy salt water all over the van but that's the price you pay for a luxury view.

Gee it doesnt look too bad there Scol. Bargara We, at one stage last year were looking at houses there to do the move but......

Probably more expensive to live here than anywhere else on the Fraser Coast. Bundy is prolly the cheapest alongside Maryborough. Maybe Tin Can Bay next then Hervey Bay. Then all the small ones eg. Burrum Heads .. no idea why they are more expensive than Hervey Bay ...

Yeah I think I need to do some reconisance trips just to sus it out I'll get back up there one way or another
