Very reluctant to write up about this one 'cause I LIKED IT!!!
This park is built on 6 acres of flora and fauna sanctuary with
lorikeets, kangaroos, wild bush turkeys & possums, roaming the park
For a 3 star caravan park I loved it. There is a very nice shower/
amenities block at the front (real posh!) and a second one about half
way up the park (pretty standard).
Most van sites have a fair bit of space between them (so people can't
hear me snore!) and you could easily plonk a tent on the site if you
had extras for the night.
There's a great pool (the view is magnificent!) and most of the park
has a decent amount of mulch to keep out sandflies, but they are
around.
Agnes Water/ 1770 is a very popular spot as there are surf beaches,
National Parks, 4wd tracks, boating, fishing, walking as well as a
multitude of tourist attractions. As with most popular spots it's
always best to book early to avoid disappointment as this park fills
up quickly.
I loved it and intend going back several times a year 'cause it's a
great spot for the family and a great place to visit.
