I just got due to other van being a writeoff a 22ft Regal van. It has a front and back bedroom, double one end and 2 singles the other so perfect for us.

Never had a Regal before hope theyre ok. Got to paint the drawbar as its a bit ordinary.

That annexe looks fairly new.

I reckon it looks better than your old Windsor.

Tows ok mate but geez the cruiser uses the juice. Roll out awning was apparently was replaced with a new Dometic/A&E under insurance 12 months ago, got damaged in a storm. Its great as it came with the walls,a tarp for the floor and marine carpet to go on the tarp. Also came with a second anexe that has full shadecloth walls that mounts on the other side of the van although in C/van parks siutes are probably not big enough to run everything. It does look good Scol but I miss the Windsor, I loved that van.This although 3 ft bigger does'nt tow anywhere as good as the Windsor as the Windsor had Full independant suspension (Safety Tow). This comes in at a fraction under 22ft

Yeah she's a biggin. I have'nt scrapped yet but yeah on uneven ground I reckon it would as there is not much clearance. I'm waiting for some better weather to put the walls on the annexe up and if there is enough length I am going to undersling the axles as its too low.

My understanding is that it is illegal to do it without the manufacturers consent.

If you go to CF and do a search on 'underslinging' there is a myriad of info there which will confuse you as they tend to argue a lot.

In Qld ANY modifcation has to be reported and inspected. I had a chassis rasier put on my Jayco but didn't worry aboout getting the DOT to check it as it was nicely hidden and was not underslung.
