| Well we brought the Jayco back from getting a few odds and sods fixed. Parked it in the drive and sold it 2 hours later ... No advertising or anything. I do admit to being a bit stressed when it took the repairers 5 months from when they gave me the quote to when they actually did the job and fixed it. I thought it was never going to get done which would have jeapardised the purchase of the new van. So things have worked out well. One issue tho' ... I'm van less ... Scol. | |

| Naah ... some freinds of hours expressed interest but we thought they'd buy another one as it took so long to get ours fixed. We didn't realise they were holding off until it came back to have a look at. Once they knew it was back they came around, looked at it, and bought it. No complaints here! scol. | |

| We're trying to see if we can get a motel in Melb. that's not too expensive but has security for the Cruiser ... then after say two nights we'll head to Packenham to pick the van up before heading back to Qld. No of any cheapie motels in Melb particularly Prahran? Scol. | |

| Depends how much you mind spending, some of the big ones in town have secure underneath parking (Valet) but they're not real cheap. If you want too stay in the heart of the city then I think most would be quite expensive but most will have secure parking. If you dont mind staying out a little bit they would be a fair bit cheaper. Stay away from areas like Coburg, Fawkner, Footscray or any of the western suburbs, I would'nt stay around these as they are the pits. For where you have to go to get the van I would be looking at the south eastern or eastern suburbs. I cant think of any offhand but will look into it for ya. Trouble is as I have not stayed at any close to Melb I can neither recomend nor reject them. We used to go stay in one of the big ones in the city Hyat, Hilton for our anniversary each year but yeah not cheap was 200-300 a night but mate it was grouse (How the other half lives luxury!!). | |

| Naah it's all good ... not sure how long we will be in Melb. I had a look at the Top Tourist park at Springvale. fairly cheap cabins at $70-$80 even in peak season. So looks like we'll be heading there for 3 nights. Only 3.5months to go! Scol. | |

| ""Springvale"" err ok just keep ya windows up and doors locked when pulling up at lights there. Unless ya want to buy some wacky weed . I've been approached there a few times at lights trying to sell me some hooch. Oh I hope ya can speak/read vietnamese as most of the shops are'nt even in english, well last time I was down that way they were. Personally I dont like it down that way but being a TTP it should be fine just be a little bit mindfull of where you go at night. | |
