Mate fingers crossed he and his family are ok. Very keen to know he's ok. Stay Safe you Qlders my heart goes out to you all affected by this. Very distressing watching it all unfold from down here.Fiona and I were only talking last night about had we moved to Qld like we'd planned to, from what we've seen and been told the area we favoured in Bunderberg is under water so yeah in some way I feel like "maybe"we were lucky we made the choice we did!

thanks for all the well wishes guys we are very lucky unlike alot of others.
now all i can do is pray it doesn't rain as the drain system that runs from behind my place has no where to go.
i can only get on after we chare things up as we have no power so SCOL & AL behave your self's Very Happy

i had to deliver bins into some of the flood effected areas today & it's hard to describe the feeling you get when you see all the damage.
all i can say is thank god it didn't happen to me, i just wish i could help them more.

well what a mess it was all the places we wanted to go the rds were blocked
but the radio st said they need people but we couldnt get in so we went to goodna

Saw Goodna on the news ... looked a mess. Did your house receive much damage Ron?

We got out yesterday. All roads to Cairns open. It was the quietest trip I've ever made on the Bruce Hwy. As soon as we got to Cooroy their was hardly any traffic. No trucks tried to pass us as their weren't any and the cars were few and far between.
