Cervantes Caravan Park is a favourite spot of mine because it has
good sized camping sites, the staff are freindly, and with the exception of public holidays it isn't too busy.
The toilets are clean, well maintained with a good shaving mirror and
electric sockets for men's shavers.
There are two toilet blocks and one campers kitchen. Although the
camper's kitchen is small in comparison to some of the elaborate set
ups we have never had any problems accessing utensils or sinks. There is also a fridge for guest use and they have just put in a colour TV if you don't mind sitting on a wooden seat.
Dogs are welcome on a leash but be aware of a $20 dog bond AND an
extra $1/day tarrif for your dog.
As mentioned the powered sites are quite large in comparison to some places. You can adequately fit your caravan/ camper as well as park your car out of the way. If you want an even larger site then try site no. 61 ... it's huge!
The park is within the town limits with only 5 mins walk to pub,
shops and Country Club (they have $10 meals from Wednesday - Sunday).
Tarrif is good; infact probably a little better than most caravan
parks. We usually end up paying a little less than most places we've
been too.
Summing up it's a great get-a-way for a weekend and has most things you would need for a few days away.
