Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows if you can still camp at the Caboolture showgrounds?

I know you used to be able to take your van there but not sure if it is still the case.

Hoping to go there in mid January ... we'd go to one of the coastal parks but as we are wanting to take our dog with us this time so we are limited as to where we can stay, and some of the inland parks have crappy reputations.

Cheers in advance ...

Too late! 'Cause we were having so many issues with the dog situation we're not heding south anymore. Just booked into the Absolute Ocean Front at Bargara. They were more than happy to accomodate the dog AND have given us an ocean possy for no extra charge.

Here's some pics ... look like an average park but in a nice setting.

Thanks for your help Ron!

From what I can gather the ocean front is a 'rock' ocean front ... if that's the case I mght be able to just rig up and cast a line from the van ... oh joy!
